    Cheaper Than Dirt

I know some of you Don't like Cheaper Than Dirt and that's OK with me ... But They have Winchester Super-X Soft Point 64 Gr (Item # 7-AX223R2) for $19.77 a Box and reasonable shipping. So I picked-Up a few for the fall ...

I think I would do without, even if they were giving ammo away.

    That's just me though.

If I could rate a post this one would get 5 stars.

I've never ordered from cheaperthandirt.com - don't want to start a war on this thread, but what beef do folks have with them?

CTD really up their prices as soon as there was a run on anything gun/ammo related. And I mean "gouged" the public just because they could... Sometimes 4/5/6X what was the going prices elsewhere...

                Everyone hates the free market

But seriously, people thought when the poop hit the fan, CTD preyed on the situation and raised prices too much. God forbid a company wants to sell a high demand product for more money. Someday I'll become known as the sole person on TBH that DOESN'T hate CTD.

There were no "going prices elsewhere". The items that CTD "gouged" were routinely out of stock everywhere but CTD. I'm not saying you could NEVER find the items, just most of the time, and then the items would be gone in short order. Walk in to cheaper than dirt, and the item was nearly always in stock, albeit at a higher price. FREE MARKET

I am a fan of the free market and make my choices based on what I believe to be a fair price.

I went into CTD Fort Worth location and looking for a holster, looked at ammo and supply prices and exercised my options not to purchase from the establishment, no need to bash them for high prices.

If they can make a dollar off of panic buying people I can't blame them.

And Midway USA didn't jack their prices up on account of all the b.s. that happened. I will always support them. Free market.

Yea, and there were a few of us "locals" at the NRA show that told them exactly how we thought of their gouging too... NO THANK YOU CTD... will not ever buy from them again. It's not always WHAT you do, but HOW you go about doing it, and I choose NOT to buy from them.
