    Started another ar project.

Spikes punisher lower. I scuffed the finish with scotch brite and cleaned it with acetone. Put two coats of brownells aluma hyde coyote on it. I cured it in the oven at low temp to help it dry. It comes real close to matching magpul fde. I will update as I put it together. Click image for larger version

That did turn out really good! Where did you fine the punisher lower? I found a zombie one that I am going to build one for my daughter with.

When I'm not on tbh I surf gunbroker. I found it there. Have four in all two being a consecutive pair.

ARs have a painted coating for metal protection, so yes, painting it after removing all grease and oils, with a little scuffing should do the trick

Got my lower together. Rock River two stage match trigger with a Troy ambi safety. I used kns anti walk pins on the trigger group. Since its a punisher lower I went with punisher extended take down pins, oversize mag button and mag catch. Since I went fde on the whole build I used a mag-pul fde oversize trigger guard and a fde ergo grip. Now I will wait to get more parts and finish. Click image for larger version

ID:	24206477 I got my fde mag-pul prs and installed my forward assist. Going to try and color fill all the writing, safe-fire and skull this weekend. I'm armed with red white and black nail polish. I had the wife pick it up with some fine brushes. More pics to fallow.
