    your 1911

what are your upgrades or what do you do to them new mags from a certain company? internals, grips, sights, ports, barrels, dovetail, trigger? I got a delta elite a while back and I put a heavy spring in, full size guide-rod, buffers, and a dovetail all Wilson combat stuff. lets see some guns and hear some mods.

Les Bear Prowler III. Needs nothing. Has the 1.5" treatment, whatever that means, and shoots lights out with anything I put in it. Round count is 750 and going up again this weekend. I also have a stock RIA GI. Haven't done anything but upgrade grips on that one, round count is at 650 on that one with zero issues. I do have a pile of Wilson Combat upgrade parts for it though-hammer, beavertail grip, internal springs, serrated mainspring housing. That will be a project to undergo once it starts to have failures. Until then, I'm going to run them and have fun with them

I did upgrade all of the magazines for both to Wilson Combat and Tripp Cobra mags.

Bought two matching Taurus 1911's. added storm lake barrels, and Crimson Trace grips to both. For as much hate people have towards Taurus, I have to say I'm rather impressed. They run very well dirty. I mean dirt in the action dirty and dry, the factory trigger is nice, and they are very accurate.

Travis, I'm surprised... Regardless of our past spats... I always thought you had great taste in weaponry... THOUGHT.

I took mine and just handed it to Chrisgunguy and let him have at it.
                    He took it from this:

I have the same Taurus AR 1911 with Same crimson grips and wilson hammer, my experience is the same. It's my carry around on the tractor or pig hunting and varmint pistol. I haven't had a problem with it yet and it's never been cleaned. It's been like my Benelli shotguns.

I use Wilson combat and chip McCormick mags in these. Other than that I'm just going to shoot them!
