Found a model 1894 win 30-30 serial numbers date year 1912

Long octagon barrell
No pitting rust with. Very minor surface rust

Stock nicks and dings. Wouldnt call stock rough but its been used

Value? Guy wants 800 and think its prerry cool looked them up and they range up to 2k but cleaner of course

Condition is everything. If 2k is at 100% then 800 may very well be on the top side depending on condition. With surface rust, nicks and dings (not sure because it's not in my hands) it could be at 70% +/-

is the barrel stamped 30 WCF ?

does it have the Marble rear tang peep sight ? ... take-down model ?

lots of variables determine value in those older rifles .......could be worth $500 to $2500

i personally wouldn't buy it until after inspecting the bore

thank you guys. I will find out Cajun and look up what a take down model is because I honesltydont know , and that's the cal. but research says it shoots modern 30-30 right? don't know what a marble rear tang peep sight eis either but ill look it up. oi do know what a peep is though
