Best way to limit holster wear?

What is the best holster to carry to eliminate holster wear? I know I may be a princess but I don't like my guns having much holster wear of I can help it. What would be the best brand material to limit it.

I have an xd that is wearing from the original holster. Picked up a black hawk and it seems to not fit as tight against the plastic. I have a new 1911 sig scorpion that I really don't want to get holster wear.

Ha! Buy a gun to stricting carry and USE!!! They all wear the finish. Leather to plastic holsters. A stainless gun is a good idea. Other than that your sol on that one. My duty gun is wore from plastic blackhalk and my glock is worn from leather. I do carry a taurus tcp 380 sometimes in my jeans or shorts pocket... no wear on it yet

Leather wears less than kydex, but you'll get wear with any holster. Your carry gun is a life saving tool. Let it gain some character

Leave the pretty gun at home.... I dealt with he same dilemma as you.

I ended up buying a gun that already had a few scratches on it to carry... Buy you a used one and get to toting it

This or get a Glock. What little they do wear you really don't care.
