    Gun girdle??

Anyone ever used one of these? Looks pretty functional and looks like it may be dual purpose

If you like that one you should really look at the one produced by I.C.E. and Rob Pincus..

Looks like it would be hot in the summer time.

I was talking to the guy that makes em on THF: http://www.texashuntingforum.com/for...arry_Op#UNREAD

Looks like it will be cumbersome to me... Like wearing a tube sock around your abdomen... Im waiting for someone to try it like you are

I recently bought "The Packing T" with the velcro pads under the arm pits... I was unimpressed for use with a 3" 1911... and dont plan on carrying anything smaller than that... But I have it as an option.

I bought something like that once. It was WAY too hot.

To me, it doesn't look any worse than wearing a back brace which I have to do often anyways. That's where I saw it was on THF. Can't seem to find a website for them or anything.

Seems like that carry location would be hard to draw from. If my holster is above my belt line like that, I want it cross draw with quite a bit of forward cant. From the looks of that one, you'd have to nearly take your shirt off, and pull the gun up into your armpit to get it out of the holster.

looks like it could be good for wearing very light summer clothes, but would make it hot and would be a pain to contantly have to wash since it would likely start stinking quick

Never worn a back brace... So I cant say there...

It just looks too hott, hard to get to and hard to conceal.... you would be able to see a gun under my arm no doubt...

The Packing T I got my wife said yup you can tell... and shes not one that notices stuff like that...

This and that T may be good for cool weather and layers but for summer coming up I think I'm stickin to my Crossbreed, or a TBH special from wildman if I can find a blue gun for a g22...

I agree with txfireguy, with that high of a draw, a crossdraw would be best. Might be nice as a holster to wear while driving though

I have one similar, I forget the name. You can wear it low and have a reasonable draw as long as you don't have too much of a spare tire.

There are better options in my opinion but if you aren't sure these are fairly cheap and flexible as far as which pistols you can carry in it. So if you are starting out and nt sure what you are going to carry this might be an option.
