so i have a model 1100 lt20 with a loose barrel/forearm. how is this fixed? i pulled it apart and everything looks good just loose. can anyone help? shotguns is one thing i dont know how to repair easily.... i even tried to youtube it with no success(thats a first)

Is the end cap where it screws on setting down all the way when you screw it on? -
yes.... upon further inspection, and swapping parts between it and another one, the barrel lug (thats what im calling it) its inside the reciever, seems to be built in, and its like a little bump almost.... the other barrel does not lock up tight on this gun, but both barrels lock up tight on the other. weird.... and im not sure how to fix it!!Comment

Download an owners manual here and compare the inside of your receiver to the diagram towards the end of the manual. Something may be broke inside your receiver that is causing the barrel to be loose.Comment
