Remind them the 1st amendment was also written around the same date...and back then, it took an experienced operator overnight to set type face, ink and print out a few pages of news on a press...

I guess we should eliminate CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, NPR, computers and the whole ****ed internet while we're at it. It obviously doesn't apply to today's instant, 24 hr news cycle.

But it took the bad guy 2 minutes to fire and reload too, now it's a fraction of a second.

The Bill of Rights didn't cover Freedom of the Press for radio, TV or the internet either.
