Well, now that I finally scored some ammo for it, I got to take it to the range today. I'm very impressed to say the least.
First of all, I'm used to shooting a Gen 3 G22 (.40 S&W) and this being a 9mm, I was expecting faster and more accurate follow up shots. That's exactly what it delivered.
I was only able to shoot 2 different kinds of ammo through it (Tulammo and Estate 115 gr FMJ) for the majority of the range time (200 rounds total). I did shoot 5 rounds of "duty" ammo just to see how different it felt and where the POI was going to be. Duty ammo consisted of 125 grain +P CorBon JHP.
The 115 gr fodder wasn't too bad as far as accuracy went, as long as I took my time and did my part. It did shoot 1.5" high of where I was aiming, which I thought was odd at first. As soon as I put the 125 grain CorBon in there, it hit EXACTLY where I was aiming and it put them all in one ragged hole. In fact, the first 3 were in the same hole, so this is obviously the grain or brand of ammo this particular pistol prefers at this point. I'll try some Speer GDHP next time, same grain, and see how she shoots.
Rapid fire was fairly easy and I never went off the bad guy or made a bad shot. I am a good shot with a pistol but I wouldn't say I'm an expert but this gun sure made it easy. It's much easier to get my smaller hands around the new grip and maintain control of the gun. I started off with a Hogue slide on grip on the handle but took it off after 2 magazines and found the gun easier to control and it just felt better without it. The new stipples on the Gen 4's are just awesome as far as gripping your hand and they didn't hurt at all after 200 rounds. I was skeptical because they feel sharp just holding the gun in your hand but once I started shooting, I just forgot about them and they didn't hurt once the gun started torquing from the recoil.
I really have nothing negative to say about the Gen 4. No failures of any kind and excellent accuracy out of premium ammo. Here are some targets from today at about 15-30 ft.

Slow fire^^^^

Rapid fire and checking for POI 115gr

Rapid fire to the hostage
and slow fire to the perps

Great day at the range overall. Thanks for reading.
