reloading checklist!! help me make one!!

ok fellas.... so im getting my reloading bench set up....and i dont know everything that i will need to get, and i know some things you realize you need when you are in a bind!!

so here is what i have so far, while small, its the major things. so add to my list if you will. i did not buy a kit as i dont want to use the cheaper stuff as i will be loading for accuracy, and id rather buy quality the first time.

This all depends on how deep your wanting to get into it... its going to take a long time to accumulate stuff unless you got $10, 000 laying around. Also if you want to get down to benchrest quality ammo its going to take a lot more gear. Ill try to take pictures and post you up a lot of stuff this evening.

ill buy things over time. im just wanting the things to get started for the moment. a freind who is a competative shooter will be helping me work up my loads, so all i will need to do is replicate at the moment. but i plan on doing it on my own in the next year or so if i can get the things rounded up that i need.

if you want stuff at discounted prices, my friend Bob White in NJ buys entire collections of guns and benchrest reloading items from people getting out of the sport. He than sells peices individually at discounted prices. I buy from him all the time ... brass, dies, barrels, scopes, bullets, tools, rifles, etc....



if i were in your shoes, one of the first investments I'd buy is a chronograph. How are you gonna determine long range bullet drop charts and dope the wind if you have 0 clue about your rifles custom load and velocity

Other guys have pretty much nailed it on the head.
The main additions to get you going for now would be a tumbler, media, case sizer and lube, and books. Everything else I would count as additions that can come later on.
