10/22 custom receivers - Where and what kind did you get?

Looking to possibly start building a custom 10/22. I have seen several different custom receivers X-Ring by Tac Sol, Tactical Innovations Elite 22, etc. What kind and where did you get yours?

Best of the best IMO is KIDD. I have two magnum research that are good too.

If your wanting something different, look at the PWS t3 summit. I bought the whole rifle and it's a lights out shooter. They sell the receiver by itself. And I'd recommend buying their trigger with it also. Very nice trigger.

          X2 on KIDD. Top shelf.

They are also out of McQueeney, TX

Do any research on the rim fire central forum and you will see those guys speak very highly of all KIDD products.

            If building a tack-driving 10/22 , you can easily drop $1000

My Kidd Barrel is a tack driver and I haven't put but 200 rounds thru it yet. Guaranteed to shoot 1" at 100yards.

Their receivers are nice but out of my price range!

This rifle is all KIDD except for the receiver and charging handle. Both will be swapped soon! This is my favorite gun to shoot. I do like the built in scope rail on the MR receiver though. I'm going withe the KIDD to complete the rifle and adding the rear tang. I'm not sure this gun can be any better but there is only one way to find out....

                  Tell me about it.

I should have stopped at 1k. I have more fun shooting it than most of the others. Money well spent for me.

I also see you cannot shoot under 40 grain bullets out of it or it voids the warranty. Wonder why?
