ARs back on shelf at Academy!

I never saw them removed anywhere in Austin, academy has had them in store since I moved here in july. Now finding one thats a right pice is a different story. The store on 360 north gets their shipments thursdays not sure about the other stores since I only go to one.

I guess after the bill failed they put the Ars back on the selfs here in Austin area.

Anyone else seeing this?

No Austin store has had them on the shelf for display they pulled them down and had them under the counter in the cages and you had to ask for then by name...until last week when I started this thread that is.

I was in the Lewisville Academy about 7 sat night. They had their ARs on the shelf, started putting them back on shelf Thursday.

had 8 or 10 in .22.
Had a Sig 7.62 for $1295.. Had a DPMS and another decent brand for $945 and $999, clerk told me there were more in the back. Hadn't sold one since Thursday.

Now that is a true sign of a slow down to the buying craze!

Yes great news....Now I can go out and buy more.. and more p-mags now that they are showing up with more frequency at 12.00 prices

I'm gonna wait. I think they will flood the market and the prices will drop even more! The prices went up at the big box stores since the craze.

I thouht you meant pulled from the stores as in not having any, every thursday a 8am when I'd go they had them thats what I'm talking about they were never not sold at academy. I'd get three guys I work with to go every thursday get 4 boxes of 5.56 and 9mm I'd give them the cash then they hand it over to me the federal m183 were still $8.99 a box so it was worth it plus federal 9mm hollows for $16 got .223 hog hammer for $22 got the 5.56 tracers for $11 the prices never went up there so they got my business. Onetime the employees did keep ammo for some people though cause I checked in on a wed they told me what was coming thursday I showed up they didn't have it I said hey I talked to ***x yesterday they then reach under the counter pull out the box and give me what I wanted that was the only negative experience.

Really?! which Academy where you going to? since this crazy panic buying started @ Nov up till a few weeks ago the only way to get an AR from Academy in North Austin, Round Rock or Cedar Park and the rest of the state you had to be in line at 4am Mon, Wed, or Fri and that still did not mean you would get one.

north 183 guess it's "jollyville" but ya 10min from my house they had some bushmasters and some others nothing worth the prices I friended the manager good guy let me know when shipments were coming and what was coming I was always in line with three other guys every thursday morning got what I needed for the pre-craze prices made good business.
