    AR Flash Hider Question

Does anyone know what brand this is? It is welded on the left and right sides. You can see an unwelded seam on the top and bottom. Is this a slip on? You can see where it partially covers up the dpms stamp on the underside of the barrel.

That's more than likely a pinned/soldered on flash hider on a 14.5 inch barrel

Looks like a surefire knock off since its not threaded to accept a can.

Not all of their qd mounts are threaded

It doesnt seem to be pinned. Its definitely welded at the seam, and poorly I might add. Looks like in their cleaning up the weld they ruined an expensive suppressor mount.

Why would anyone weld this on? Maybe because they didnt have the spacer rings to clock it correctly?

Is the barrel at lease 16" before the flash hider?

It was a screw on. Uncut barrel. A little file work and a chisel to crack the welds. Came right off.
