Where to get a steel plate in Plano, Frisco, McKinney, TX

I want to get a steel plate at least 3/4" thick and no smaller than 12 x12 for some long range rifle target practice. I live in Plano, TX and basically next to Frisco and McKinney, TX. Does anyone know where I can find a piece of scrap or where I can buy for cheap???

Could call commerce steel in dallas see if they got a drop piece you could buy..

Look up Advantage steel out of Richardson. We use them for our bigger plate fabrication. They could cut/sell you anything you would need. For just the one plate your'e looking at about $1.50/lb. We would probably have something in the 3/4*12 size at our plant in Anna. But, it wouldn't be scrap for the piece your'e looking to buy, hence it would cost about 5 times what scrap costs.
