Need help got a good deal from a dealer friend on the x bolt 308 24" vermit heavy barrel with 1/12 twist. Adjustable trigger. Will let me have it at cost. What are your thoughts on gun shooting out to 450 yards. Haven't bought yet. Need help thanks,

Should be a good shooter out to 500 yards with the right optics and shooter. -
I think browning makes a fine gun and all but a few BAR's I have shot have been accurate with factory ammo. I do not think the gun will have an issue performing out to 500. And for cost I say jump on it. If I would have chose to buy over build what I'm calling my main deer rifle I would have ended up with an A-bolt, but in my case I went with a 700 in 25-06 based off aftermarket choices.Comment
