Are all bolts the same?

The bolts in my custom actions are interchangeable yet their tolerances are machined to extremely precise specs


I have 3 Kelbly actions and I can swap bolts and barrels from all 3 as the headspace is dead nuts on.

another option , make sure the rings/bases on the 243 are the same as the 308 ... or go with higher rings

I would NOT modify the bolt as you will spend $75 for a $20 fix
