Only four Republican senators committed to voting for the amendment ahead of time. The last was Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., who announced his support Wednesday afternoon. The other three were Toomey, Sen. Mark Kirk of Illinois and Sen. Susan Collins of Maine.
Glad we won this round but I would still like to see mccain walk his shin right into a tailgate hitch...I suspect they knew the count before it started.
Reid could have put the nail in this & dropped us in the grease.

They are WAY more resilient than we are. While you're saying, "Yes, we won!," they are already re-shuffling the deck to come at us from another angle.
They already have so much momentum in their favor, it's silly to think common sense applies anymore. The last 2 elections are proof that voting won't stop what's coming. Meanwhile, as all this circus BS is going on, we're on TBH high-fiving each other.
