Nice looking gun. But I would be pretty disappointed to have a gun with a "3 shot 1" group or less". It would have to be in the much less category for that kind of money.

Just saw where is has an E.R. Shaw barrel.... I would expect a little more from Colt

Not sure who built the chassis but similar ones sell for $1500

Barrel - $ 450
Chamber/thread - $ 250
Action - $500 ~ $1200
Magazines - $50 ~ 75
M Brake - $200
Trigger - $ 140


Add the numbers as that pictured rifle would easily cost over $3K

You can try to save a few nickles and peice one together as you better budget $2000 or more

BUT with that said, they probably shoot a lot better, they likely said that due to the guys that buy one and cant shoot better than that. that way they still keep them happy.... under promise, over deliver kind of deal. but the guys that are in the market for that know what kind of weapon you can get for that type of money.... an that rifle would be nowhere close to the best you can get for $3-3500
