Colt and Magpul moving to Texas?

Has any one heard this? Probably just a rumor but colt is said to be looking at Breckenridge, Texas to produce their firearms?!

It's Colt Competition, their three gun sub contractor company. Magpul most likely will not be moving to Texas. They are going north across the border to Wyoming. They are just outside of Fort Collins so it's not very far to go north to Wyoming.

Colorado is now on my list of states I will never live in along with New York, New Jersey and every state north of there plus California.

I agree. thats the smart move for them.

they have said they would be a multi-state operation from now on, which leads most people to believe they will keep some manufacturing in Colorado.

They have to, at least in part. Their parent company is a huge portion of the injection molding business and there are a lot of other products manufactured at those facilities. Magpul will move, the parent company will not.
There are also a lot of component companies that have their facilities in close proximity. Moving away from them would force up cost.
