My son and I both carry CM9s everyday. He has a crimson trace laser on his. They are excellent little carry guns IMO.I also have a Diamondback DB9 (mini Glock) that I am TRYING like he** to like but it is currently on it's second visit back to DB Firearms in Cocoa, FL.
Son had the Ruger LC9 before but likes the Kahr much better. I will say neither of us had experienced a single FTF or FTE. You pull the trigger...it goes BANG!Accurate little firearm as well. I am not crazy about the stock grips as it tends to sting after awhile at the range (but most pocket pistols do) so I put a hogue on mine.
Kahr is a great firearm...one of the best for the $ IMO!

Rascal is right...the grips do bite after a while, so I put a Hogue rubber grip on mine as well. Pretty much make the gun as perfect as can be IMHO.

Like mine fine. They tend to require a good bit of break in to become reliable.
Kahr recomends 200 rounds to break in and mine took most of that before being what I consider reliable.

Read and then reread your ownerÂ’s manual. There are some real MUST DO's in there that if you don't you will have issues.

http://www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=14748I know I have heard that several of the smaller pocket types need a break in period but not sure why you would single out the Kahr? I know I did clean mine before I ever even took out to the range just to make sure it wasn't caked with grease (like so many firearm manufacturers like to do) That said, neither my son's or mine has had a single hiccup and both have probably 550-600 rounds through them.
Wish I could say that for my Diamondback DB9

Kahr was the only one asked about and the only weapon I have had that issue with.
My 9 was just like Mike's with multiple failures in the first 100-150 rounds and has been flawless since.
I did not intend to bash the weapon or even steer anyone away from it, it was just information I wished I had known when I got mine.
