    Scope Advice 10/22

What glass would you guys suggest I put on a 10/22?
I know I should buy the best I can afford. I just can't afford much right now. (too many toys) I got a bull barrel on my 10/22 and now I can't even shoot it because it doesn't have iron sights.
I will more likely buy a used one, if I can find a good deal.
Pointers on where to go or where not to will be appreciated.
    Thanks!

I like Nikon for the money. Didn't buy one for my 10/22 though cuz I had a cheap Swift laying around and it's more than enough glass for what my kids use the gun for.

BSA sweet 22 works great for me and my brother.

Just for plinking, a red dot is hard to beat...my 8yr old son is deadly on rabbits and tin cans with the one I have set up for him.(cut down synth stock and red dot)

For longer distance accuracy, most any 3-9power would be fine.

Both of my boys and I run BSA Sweet 22's. They have not let me down yet. We run 2 of the 3-9s and 1 2-7. Decent scopes for money. The 2-7 has been on that Riger for all of 8 years and 4 moves, never lost zero.

Vortex, redfield or nikon are all cheap and work, or if you need it now get a 100 dollar bushnell from academy got one on a marlin 795 and it has held zero great and that is with it being thrown around as a truck gun.
