No reason to shoot subs unsuppressed. They are almost as loud and the trajectory sucks. Plus you won't get expansion unless you buy specialty bullets.

Not all 300 Blk uppers are made the same. Some will run just fine with subs and supers with out a can. Others will not. Some inprovement can be made in guns that wont cycle subs without a can by reloading and tayloring the powder and charge to your gas system.

But as others have said not much reason to shoot subs out of a non-suspresed upper.

The guys were saying you need the back pressure from the suppressor to cycle the round from the sub sonic loads. Not sure how true it is but don't really want to mess with it

Supersonic is fine in 110 tac-x barnes and 125 ballistic tip hunting. Subs require the supressor to run. The problem is this round was built for cans, and compromised in super. 6.8 way out does it in super

I have a Smith and Wesson M&P .300 Whisper/Blackout and it cycles the subsonic ammo with no issues.

sweet! im really considering to swap the 5.56 barrel in my ar to an 300 blackout, but its hard to get over here.

I would keep it if i were you. just start loading the 300 yourself save some buck and have fun shooting you own reloads... Shoudnt b too tough to reload...
