Out of all those regional, state and national level matches (close to 100), only 5 of those he was out of the top 5.
Bob Munden (RIP) was awesome at what he did, exhibition and trick shooting. Jerry is from another planet. THat said, I don't think Jerry has beaten Max heads up in an IPSC match where he (Jerry) shot an auto and not a revolver.
Jerry is golden with whatever he touches. My favorite "Impossible Shot" of his was a 3 gun exhibition. Pistol first on 6 poppers, the last one throws up a clay bird. Put down the pistol, pick up an AR and hit 2 poppers at 100 yards, put the AR down, pick up a shotgun and shoot the clay bird that was thrown previously. All in about 5 or 6 seconds. Another one was "Bang, bang, bang before ding, ding, ding". Shooting an M&P15-22lr, three shots on a steel target before the sound of the first impact made it back to the shooter. He managed it easily at 200 yards (offhand, mind you). 150 took a few tries, but he did it. He did it at 75 yards on the second try I think.
