I have a savage like Chew's but bbl bull barrel, Bushnell scope. Took it on a trade, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. Cannot wait...my only excuse is being a father of two kids under 3 yrs old!

I think they used to make them but discontinued them due to feeding issues or something like that. I do know that henry makes lever actions in 17 HMR and they are awesome I love mine. I think they also make a pump gun in 17 HMR but not sure.

After further research apparently they were having issues with squib rounds blowing up in the breach. So it was a safety issue and not a feed issue, Volquartzen did show to still be making a semi auto so as of right now as far as I know that is your only choice unless their is another custom builder doing them but none of the big boys are.
