thumbholes dont work for us lefties. sometimes i can get lucky and find a LHRB stock at boyds or stockys, but not often.

        Just my $0.02.
This is true to a point but if you are hiking in the mountains like in Colorado, every ounce matters and synthetic is best. I have both and love the look of laminate, but for me to carry, syntheticis best.

Tru oil that bad boy, if you ever need to fix it just get a touch more tru oil and fix it right up. If you scratch it too deep, get some fine sandpaper or steel wool on it first, then tru oil...

Synthetic stocks get scratched too... Can't sand that out.

I've been carrying a laminate Thumbhole in the woods since I was a teen. I will admit that first scratch really ****** you off... But you don't notice the rest... What good is a rifle you don't use.
Bla bla.... Just because you like to put your thumb in holes .

My synthetic stocks scratch. Coat of krylon fixes that in seconds. So while your stroking your wood with oil and putting your thumb in the hole, I'll have a lighter gun that I can beat the crap out of.

. I kid. I have both. I like both. Synthetic has more options for what I'm looking for most of the time. But I do like a real pretty wood stock too!!

First before you go buy a laminate stock from stockys namely a Bobby Hart aluminum pillar bed (which I did) go shoot your rifle and see if the rifle shoots well with the factory syn stock if it does save your money,if not buy a Bobby Hart.Just my opinion.

                      Lhla. Left hand left action.
                      Lhrb. Left hand right bolt.

If you didn't shoot those dang TCs so much, you'd know!!

Manners t5A is a good thumbhole stock for right and left handed shooters.
