    Ammo traders?

I use 22LR and .40S&W. I prefer the plain ol federal bulk packs for the 22 but right now ill take what i can get and I'd like the 40 to be in a brass casing so I can save it up to reload.

I am thinking of buying any other calipers on the hot list right now just to trade and barter with.

Is anybody else thinking of doing this or currently doing it?

No because that just adds more demand to an already scarce market And will increase the time it takes stock and prices to normalize, I like to shoot as much as the next guy but your just gonna have to be patient

If I don't shoot it I don't buy it because it would just add to the problem we are all having finding ammo.

It's not a bad idea. Our state is big. Many places I've seen .40, .45, 17hmr..., but I can't find 9mm. It could be the other way for you.
What is causing the demand is the fear created by daily news cycle of banning guns, mags, registration, politics, crime. When the fear is gone, or when people are broke, it will return to normal. Plus, all of the millions of guns bought in the last 90 days have to have something to eat.
This is worth watching: ammo swap Saturdays

I also saw a video stating that Walmart was closing down ammo and gun sales

Don't buy ammo you don't need to trade with... What if everybody started doing this... Some guy that needs 9 is picking up your 40 while you are picking up his 9 and need 40... Lose lose.

You both leave the ammo you don't need on the shelf you both walk in and find your ammo. Win win.

I buy what I shoot when I find it. I won't be caught short on anything again.
