I ordered 7 boxes 308 and one 270. Look like amax, sst, and interbonds. Defiantly all from hornady. I've been searching everyday for 208gr amax. I dont care what color tip they have.

I bought several thousand of their 50 grain polymer tip blems years ago in .22 cal. They were Hornady. All that was wrong was that 1 tip in ten or so was loose and would fall out. Just a tiny touch of cement on the bottom end of the tip, re-insert and they were good to go. Prairie Dogs never knew the difference, and they shot just as good as non-blems on paper.

Not sure about what you ordered but the ones I ordered were bonded polymer tips. Amax and SSTs are not bonded but the interbonds are. I'm pretty certain these are the interbonds.

I'm new also but this is my best educates guess and seems to be the guess of the reloaders I've talked to.

I settled for midway's blemish bullets. They have 208gr ballistic tip. Amax are the only 208gr bullets I know of.
I contacted hornady this week and asked why they haven't been shipping anything. I was told they are trying to keep up with demand. I have contacted 7 websites and three stores I deal with. None have received anything from hornady since this madness started. They may be taking advice from the oil companies.

Got mine today. Look like discolored jackets are all I see wrong. These almost have to be Hornady bullets.

I got mine today too. Measured and weighed one box of .308 150gr. All measured .308 and weighed within .6gr. I don't think animals care how shiny the bullet is that hits them.
