Went to shiner for easter. Was talking to my dad and he tells me a gun maker is moving to shiner. So i had to google it. Sure enough shield tactical is moving in. And it said that rick perry is trying to get magpul to move to texas also!

Shield Tactical guys are some pretty good folks. I have talked with them a few times even before they moved to Shiner. They are having a big open house ceremony coming up I think in June. I heard the Gov. may be there for it.

To a certain extent, I agree with you. However, in this case I think it's ok.

However, we do NOT need Hollywood and some Silicon Valley types coming in and setting up shop.

CO used to be a solid Red State, so did FLA. However, people moved there to get away from high taxes and the high cost of living but continued voting for the same kinds of idiots that ruined the places they just left.
We DEFINATELY need to be vigilant about what companies/people we are recruiting to set up shop here.

I smell what you're stepping in but gun companies don't tend to be very liberal nor do their owners. Besides, there are plenty of liberal yuppies already here, look at Austin, you're a day late and a dollar short.
