Airsoft conversion

Has anyone done this yet and did it work? If you don't know what I mean, I have seen airsoft guns with metal lowers converted to shoot 556. Any thoughts comments and mainly have you done it and did it work????

I've seen the youtube stuff and the feds taking guns from a shop for just this reason.

All opinions welcome.

From what I seen you'll have to do a lot if drilling/machining to get your LPK parts to fit. It can be done. But not as easy as you might think or as easy as others would have you believe.

ive never seen this, and it sounds dangerous to me also, but i do know you can build your own firearm, from whatever material, for yourself without registration, but can NEVER sell, give, etc to anyone...ever

First I've heard of it but no way it's worth it. Now on the other hand if you could convert the .223 to fire air soft maybe I could afford ammo
