Browning BLR 243

I won this gun at a CCA event last night. Never heard of it before. Looks like it is a lever action. Anybody have any experience with it or know its worth. i am going to try and call the gun shop later.

The Blue Book lists the BLR 81,short action with a MSR of $900 and a resale at 100 % with all boxes and papers[unused condition]@$715... 98 % is shown as $625....I think this is a more realistic number.....My SIL shot one of them,I sighted it in for her and found it to be very accurate.

my paw paw had one that i will inherit when my dad passes. cool little guns with very little recoil and a english stock. Is your would or syntheic? my dad calls it a saddle gun.

I have my Dad's in .308 that I bought him just after I got out of the service. It is very accurate and I put the value as priceless.
