300 Blackout reloading die question.

Can you use 300/221 (whisper) dies to load 300 blackout, or are the significant differnces.

I 'thought' it was like the 223 / 5.56 dies??

The Hornady dies are listed as Blackout/Whisper so I'm guessing it's OK.

The 300 whisper has a slightly setback shoulder compared to the 300aac, but will chamber and fireform to the aac bbl. aac brass wont work in a whisper bbl without resizing first.

I s/w Hornady tech support last week and confirmed their reloading dies listed as 300 AAC/Whisper will work with both cartridges

you just have to set the dies up appropriately in your press for each cartridge
