    Turret or progressive press?

Just picked up 2 new toys (5.56 and 300 blk AR's) and I'm now looking into reloading equipment. I probably won't load more than 2000 rounds/year and am wondering if the extra $ would be worth getting a progressive press over a turret style. Opinions please.

IMO turret or single stage. And there cheap to change if u want to load another caliber.
And there just simple for no more than ur loading.

If you have never reloaded before buy a single stage. Even guys with progessive presses also have a single

I reccomend a turret. It's the best of both worlds. You can use it as a single stage and when you getthe hang of things you'll save a lot of time over a single stage.

But having said that, given the amount of loading you'll be doing a single stage might be more cost effective. Look into a rock chucker by RCBS. You won't be dissapointed.

If just loading those 2 calibers, I'd look into a turrent press. Saves time reloading rifle. Lyman, RCBS and Redding all make quality presses. Avoid Lee.
