    Shotshell Loaders......I need help!

I have some presses and a box of stuff that I have no clue how to use. I reload hundreds of brass cases a month but never tried my hand at shotshells. I'm going to post some pictures up later. Can yall tell me what the stuff is and tell me what I need to keep and what I don't need?

I have 2 12ga presses and 1 20ga. I plan on selling one of the 12ga presses and whatever extra parts I don't need hoping I can get enough $$$ to fund the build of my new bench. I'm in desperate need of one.

    Thanks!

WOW.....Any books or manuals? the red bars and the bucket of bushing will determine what load you want to make. I think i have the progressive press on the left in the bottom pics. The misc. parts look to be some of the depriming parts. The 2 bars under the red bars in the bottom pic look to be adjustable load bars and dont need any bushings. they adjust do you can fine tune your load.

If you want I can try and take some pics of mine and you can see where some of the parts go. it would be better if you could get a manual to show you where all the parts go.

You do have an assortment of accessories there, (primer tools, shot and powder bushing and bars, resizing dies)I would clean it all and see which one works the best then sell the rest. I'm in Spring and you are welcome to come see my setup if you would like, just send me an email.

go to the MEC website and you can download the manuals. Will tell you almost everything you need to know as well as what all the parts are that you have. Looks like you have all the works....good stuff.

I prefer the adjustable charge bars over trying to keep up with all the bushings that go in the non-adjustable bars. I see two adjustable charge bars in the photo (red bars with the adjustment knobs on each end). I'd keep those and sell all the other charge bars and bushings.

Keep the progressive press and sell one of the other non-progressive ones (or sell both of them and buy another progressive press). Keep the two resizers since your presses don't have a resizing station on them (or sell all 3 presses and both resizers and buy two MEC Size Masters).

Find a manual on how to set up each press, and then pull whichever parts you need from the pile to get each of them going. Then you could sell the rest of the pile. There probably won't be much value in whatever spare parts are left, so you might as well hang onto them. Just sell whichever press(es) you decide not to keep. Each press needs a powder bottle and a shot bottle. Looks like you have at least one extra bottle, so you are good there. Keep a cap for each one in case you ever need to remove it from the press while it still has shot or powder in it. Even if you're only going to have it taken off for a minute or two, put a lid on them. It sucks if you knock one over without a lid.
