Rachel Maddow Ludicrousness

So I turn on MSNBC for the entertainment value sometimes and guess I should not have been surprised by her show last night. Basically she does this long section on how the tobacco companies funded a fake smokers rights group and had all these fake spokesmen speaking for the tobacco companies as a front a couple decades ago. Maybe that's all true, it sounded like there may have been some truth to it but you never know how they spin all that.

Then after 10 minutes comes the gun stuff. She starts comparing the NRA to this bogus smokers rights group and how Wayne Lapierre is a front for the gun companies totally dismissing NRA members validity and claiming guns are the same as tobacco totally ignoring the constitutional protections they have.

Its amazing the propaganda that some media spew out. Whats more amazing is the people that actually believe this stuff. Whats scary is she might actually believe what she is saying.

Don't worry too much, have you seen their ratings???? Very few people actually watch that channel and some of those that do are people like you and me who just watch occasionally for the laughs. That being said, there is a large portion of our society now who knows nothing about guns except what they see and hear in movies and the media. Those are the people that are the target as they tend to believe anything they are told because they have no first hand knowledge. They are the real danger to the 2nd amendment because they can be pursuaded that guns are the root of all evil and that is exactly what the meida and gun haters.
