Any lefties shoot wrong sided?

I am right handed, but left eye dominant. Since growing up, I had always shot my dads right handed bolt actions from the left. A few years ago, I bought a left handed Savage, thinking it was just what I needed. I need up selling it because it just seemed to not fit me. I am very comfortable shooting all 'normal' rifles left handed, but that left handed bolt just seemed very strange. Anybody else do this?

I`m right there with you. Shoot a gun and shoot pool left handed. Everything else is right handed, even my bow. Just don`t feel right shooting a left handed bolt action rifle. We must be ALIENS, always thought I was the only one.

Sure do!! I shoot pistol right handed use my left eye. Long guns left handed, never owned a left handed rifle. I shoot bow right handed but have trained myself to use my right eye.

I went all the way through the ARMY never learning that i was right handed left eye dominant.. Bought my first bow right handed.. Pulled my Bicep, needed to releive the pain so I started shooting my rh bow lh.. Worked like a charm. That brought up the conversation from my friends "What eye dominance are you?".. Hell even at 40 years old I didnt know.. So we tested me and yep time after time I am LE dominant.

So I do everything RH except shoot bow now. I bought my first LH bow this season and what a difference. I have thought about getting LH guns as well, but I am just fine shooting RH.. never had a grouping problem either lh or rh, just my Right eye is my weaker one...

im left handed right eye dominant. Shoot guns and bows right, shoot pool right handed. everything else left (write, kick, throw, golf). I have no problem do anything stated left handed

weird this is me, shoot guns and pool left handed and everything else right. wish I could afford a lefty AR though

I'm right handed left-eye dominant shoot all things left handed. out of all my guns only two are LH and they took a bit to get used to I was used to shooting RH guns LH.

Pick an object off in the distance put your hands together to make a diamond between the two close one eye at a time and see which eye doesnt make the object move out of the middle of the dimond and that is your dominant eye

might be a dumb question but how do you tell what eye is dominate?

Easiest and quickest way is to point at something off in the distance very quickly & while staying on target, close one eye, then the other...strong eye will keep finger and target in place.

I'm a lefty but right eye...makes pistols a little strange but natural for long guns.

Yep...all my life. I shoot EVERYTHING left handed, but do everything else right-handed. I never fought it. And left-handed guns just don't feel right to me even though I shoot left-handed.

Left handed and right eye dominant. Shoot guns, and bow right handed. Play pool, throw and golf left handed. Can cast a rod with either.

Wow, a lot of us here!! I am right handed left eye dominant.. Shoot rifles, bow, and pool left handed, shoot pistols right handed using my left eye, everything else is right handed.

I shot right handed guns until I could afford to buy my own. Now most of my rifles and shotguns are lefties but I still have a few of my old right handed guns that I will not part with...
