My wife is looking for a nice Handgun. Looking at the Bersa .380acp, The copy of The one Bond...James Bond carried.. Walther PPK .380. I had one years ago and sold it,,,(Dumb Azz move). I would even carry it, But also I'm looking at the Taurus PT709 Slim 9mm or the Millennium Pro 145 .45ACP.

What do You carry and Why?

If you want small, Kahr is hard to beat. Machined parts, a Glock copy but much smaller.

My wife has shot a few of them and LOVED the lcp 380. It had the best trigger pull as well which is why she very comfortable with it.

I strongly suggest you look at the Kahr line of pistols. I'm not sure how small you want but look at the CW9 and CM9......if you want a 9mm.

I carry the P40 or CW9. Pistols are identical in size, the 9mm holds one more round.

To tell the truth I wish I could carry a 1873 .45Colt out in public. I have shot the ones I am looking at and really like them.

I have a Taurus PT709 Slim 9mm I can carry it in my back pocket and my wife can pat me down and if i don't tell her she can't tell. Also it shoots very well.

I just bought and carry a Taurus 740 slim and love it. My 12 year old daughter shot it some sunday and liked it too. It's a small, easy to conceal and shoot weapon all rolled up in a good 40 cal.

I haven't found one yet it had been a very good gun and they give you a year of NRA membership with the purchase.

Carry the PT740 Taurus and my wife is carrying the Sig p238. Both good guns, easy carry weapons as well.

Check out the price difference in the Kahr CW series...makes it very competitive with Taurus.

i carry a bersa 380 thunder with an extended magazine. shoots great, has never jammed or failed to fire. its accurate. its a nice looking pistol and it was relatively inexpensive. ammo is tuff to find now.

I bought the same pistol for my wife and she didnt like it. she doesn't have the hand strength to pull the slide back. So, I bought her a hammerless 38 special. 5 shots. just pull the trigger. If you get a misfire, just keep pulling the trigger. price was about the same as the bersa and 38 special ammo is a lot easier to find!
