~ HELP needed with AR rail additions....

OKay,... so I figured I could use a fun and cool ranch rifle. Purchased this rock river ar.





Thing is... I really don't know much about modding them up. I'm not a gun person at all... but would like to add for night hunting... a
small flashlight,... red SNIPER HAWG light destroyer... and a bi pod/sling.

Can I get away without changing out the rail area ?
I saw different mod pieces that might work from ebay ?


( would the above work as it's attached to the barrel past the gas brake ? )

What about something like this mounted to the gas brake ?

They make mounts that will attach the light to your scope as well.
I don't like adding anything on the barrel itself.
