The scatter gun that set the gold standard for dependability and durability! Buy that sucker! The only problen I've ever seen with them is that some will not cycle light/cheap shells. My buddy has this problem with his, but as long as he runs a 3 dram or higher load he is good to go. Other buddies have them and they cycle everything.

I bought an early HK import SBE I when they first hit the shores, Ive shot tens of thousands of rounds thru it. from light dove loads to 3.5" buckshot and goose loads.

You'll never want another non-Benelli shotgun ever.

It was not an SBE! It was a m1 super 90! Still a nice gun but was hoping for an SBE...

I think I will still get it though!!

                I shoot a sbe2 and i wish I still had my sbe1.

There's a fix for any sbe that doesn't shoot light loads. It's called a 'surecycle' system the one I sold would shoot light loads and cycle everything with no malfunctions.

I have shot both, not much of a difference at all. The SBE1 shoots 3'' and the SBE2 shoots 3 1/2" i believe
