Could not resist anymore. My first Tisas pronounced tea sauce. 1911 D10 It sure feels nice and racks smoothly just like all my Rocks. Got me some Starline brass ordered and a set of Lee deluxe 10mm loading dies. I already have some Winchester 180gr HP bullets that I've had for 25 years. Plan on loading to 1200 fps. What powder? Need some clean burning so CFE is out.
Blue dot for velocity. AA number 9 is good as well.
I have a pound each of AA#7 and AA#9, Also have some Powerpistol and WSF, W231 and W244 among a few other shotshell and fast burners. I think I will go with AA#7 on 180gr pills and AA#9 on full power 200gr slugs. I want to load some gas checked high antimony Elmer Keith style bullets for pig killin. I sure miss Leadhead Bullets. Those were the best.

Well, I’m not a 1911 guy, but I am a 10mm guy, so I bought a Tisas 1911 in 10mm also. Already have a G20 and an M&P 10 mm, but like you, this one just kept calling me. Haven’t shot it yet, but I will soon. Dang nice gun for the money.
That work bench must be really old but hardly never used
Haha talkin’ about the Bush/Cheney sticker? It’s a metal cabinet I got from work. No idea where the sticker came from, but it’s been around way longer than the Husky bench. Haha. Left it for nostalgia.
Acquired this off the TBH classifieds. Freedom Arm 6” .44 magnum. I needed another hunting handgun like I need a hole in my head, but I couldn’t resist…
Didn’t technically buy it, but traded a couple of rifles gathering dust in my closet for this Tikka t3x lite veil alpine chambered in .270, with a vortex viper 3.5-10x50 on it. Love it so far
