What gun did you buy today?

I just finished repairing a 9422m for a friend. He picked it up dirt cheap because it was jammed up, half open half closed and wouldn't move either direction. Magazine spring had weakened to the point it wouldn't feed the last round, so ther previous owner had gotten it in a bind and tried to force it...... broke the finger lever inside and bent the finger lever arm. Simple fix, $50 in parts, an hour of my time and I think he said $100 he paid for it. I liked it so much, I started looking for one for myself, searched Gunbroker and holy crap they're expensive!

Big brother to the one in the back.

The front rifle is a GA Precision chambered in a 300 PRC. Manners stock, bartlien barrel, trigger tech, GAP tempest action, little ******* brake, etc. The rifle was meant to feel exactly the back one which is chambered in a 6.5 PRC. Everything is identical, even the weight and trigger pull. I wanted a one gun feel.

Made a swap. Couldn’t bring myself to like the heavy barrel 308 I had. Ended up taking this late 70’s BDL in 7mm mag.

Even came with a period correct USA made weaver scope. Still debating on keeping that. Need to see how it shoots now
