What gun did you buy today?

Not today, but I picked up a custom barreled Tikka T3X in 6.5x284 with a VX-5HD 3-15 scope, dies, lapua brass, 200 bullets, everything you could need for it. Guy found out he's got a little one on the way and needed to liquidate some assets, so I got a smoking deal. Just needs a new stock.

Essentially, it’s a rimless .460 SW. same load data. You can convert 30.06 and .308 brass by cutting the shoulder off, trim to length, and flaring the mouth to accept a .45 cal (.451 or .452”) projectile.

Super fast. Bullet selections ranges from 160 gr to 500 gr.

I'm torn between this and a 375 Raptor. I kinda want to build a short barreled bolt action to attach my Hybrid to when it finally clears ATF Purgatory. A 500gr 45cal subsonic round would be wicked on a pig I'd think. Then again, a 250gr .375 bullet flying at over 2000fps would do some serious damage too.

That 250 gr is closer to 2500 fps out of that .375. I’m running around 2150 fps with 300 gr XTP’s that that’s not even a max charge.
