Are you running handloads? If so, what is your poison?

John ill have to look again. For hunting I'm running 200 grain Hornady XTPs behind a stout load of Blue Dot.

For defense I just buy Underwood 180 grain Good Dots.

Both loads are lets just say "a tad warm".

Nate I really had no issue with the Sig 1911-22, it was very reliable even shooting subs unsuppressed. It didn't feel up to the build quality of this gun, but I wouldn't call it horrible. I really wanted the Colt when I bought the Sig but couldn't find any and I wanted the rail.

This is not manufactured by Colt, just like the Sig isn't manufactured by Sig.

The magazines are expensive as hell for either one; quite ridiculous actually.

My wife and girls got me this for Very early Father's Day present almost a month ago. Wasn't planned on it or anything for this gun. It was best decision I made to switch over from my CC Taurus 24/7 DS .45 to this. XDs 45 and love it.
