Academy had a Rossi/Braztech Model 92 45Colt on sale/clearance;;; $224.

Didn't want to put up with Rossi, so I let it stay.

I have almost the same setup def one of my favorite guns.
Mike D do you know if that issue was on the stock gun without the extra mounting plate you buy? I bought the plate for mine seems like there was an issue with the screws not being long enough with the factory screws.

The failures I have seen have been the Vortex red dots themselves, not the mounts.
