1911 Picture Thread

My son, is not old enough for a LTC but wanted to see how he would do on the LTC shooting proficiency test.

Picked up a Texas Edition GSG 1911 LR from an original owner today.

Broke it down and cleaned and lubed it this evening. Come with a threaded barrel.

Happy with 1911.

My first full size Colt 1911 in 45 acp from 1995. Picked it up Saturday.

Don't have enough posts to include a pic, but got my Rock Island in 10mm by telling my wife I'd possibly give it to the newborn when he's old enough

This is my Rock Island. It was a GI 5 inch, and I put a Ed Brown beavertail and hammer, added some mesquite Republic of Texas grips from "A Woman's Touch" and here it is.
