    Reloading with a small space

I live in a townhouse so I do not have much room. However I still wanted to start reloading. I decided not to buy a reloading kit because many people told me you end up upgrading later so I brought few things each pay check. I spent about 600$ for what see here. Also add another 200$ for the sonic cleaner, tumbler and media separator. W0W that is the first I added it up. The case is my first 100 reloads. Wish me luck going shooting

I use a small diameter rod to put weight on the primers kind of forcing them to flow evenly down the tube, you can kinda see it in the pic. Biggest challenge I had was the arm that brings the primer over to the shell plate. I had to replace that small spring. This press it about 20 years old. I have been using it for my pistol ammo. Still bust out the single stage for rifle. I have yet to be able to get the 50 BMG press mounted on that little table though.....lol

How do you like hte Hornady Scale and Dispenser? I have been going back and forth between that and the RCBS. The Hornady is more economical. I have used the RCBS that a buddy has and do like it. Thanks

Small stand for me too... I adapted to $29 bench grinder stand from Harbon Freight. I can move it around to go into the garage or sit out on the patio as needed. It does have a tiny bit of flex when resizing .223. It could probably use a steel backer plate to remove the flex, but for now works pretty good.

I had to return the first Horady it kept over charging and it would not stay powered up. The second works great. Still the rcbs model is 100 bucks more and i heard its better. Out of those 100 cases it overload like 5 to 10 times. Everyone has some sweet set ups!!

All of my shell plates are less than two years old. One of my buddies is on steroids or something and tightened the center nut to where I couldn't get it off again. I tore it up with a wrench so I replaced it and the plates all at once. Even called Hornady to find where I could get a replacement tube for the powder. They stopped manufacturing that exact model so they sent a custom one for free....
