    Question about military Brass

Do you use a reamer or a swage tool to remove the primer pocket crimp and what brand tool do you prefer?

    #2
I used an RCBS Type and its tough but remember that Military Bras is thicker and you'll have to reduce powder charges by 10 % and watch for pressure signs.

Got to be a pain ... So I use Civilian Brass...

I've been using the swager die set from RCBS, a little cheaper than a stand alone swager. Here's a link to the one I'm using. They say the adapter for a RCBS trim case prep center will take it out as well, but I have not used that one.

I'm trying to find a swage tool but everyone is out of stock.I've been using a reamer but I don't like how they bevel the pocket.

ive done both, and they will both screw up the pocket if you arent careful. use what you can and shoot it!
