I ordered a noveske 300 blackout sbr form hill country class 3 just a couple days before sandy hook. When I ordered I was told that I was getting a rifle that was part of an order that they had already placed and were not all spoken for. They told me we should have serial numbers for the ATF by mid January. Here we are almost march and still have not heard a peep. I have called several times and they say they haven't gotten anything from noveske.

No announcement yet.
So, this frenzy is supposedly dying down, but when will I start seeing what I need?

I was told from two different Academy's that they expect a big shipment of ammo and should have .22lr bricks. He said to get in line early. This homie don't play that.
Also found 4 Ruger 10/22's. I already have two so I left them on the shelves. Feels like it's calming down a bit. Not over by any means yet.

I think the AR craze is starting to die down, but that was the first thing to go crazy and crazy it got. As one person here put it: $800 rifles for $2500. Then it moved to ammo and then to handguns and reloading supplies. The local shop here was still fully stocked on reloading supplies for more than a month after the AR craze kicked off. Now they've got a couple of cans of shotgun powder and can't tell me when they'll get anything. So a lot of this is going to continue for a while. I think we'll start to see some more ammo over the next month or two. But I do think we've got a fundamental shift after this. I think we've learned that 2008 post-election wasn't an aberration, and many people will be much better prepared going forward after this.

Like stated, ammo and reloading will back much slower than guns...they were still gouging on 90% of the black guns and ammo at saxet this past weekend. I did find some 38 super practice ammo at market price which was very cool. I'm in pretty good shape on everything but practice 40 ammo, but will be a while before I even get the gun from Chris.
I just suggest for folks to check the retailers that hold market price whenever you pass by...I got some 45 white box from wally world when they were out the day before.
I still don't understand the rimfire craze...never has anyone from the govt stated they wanted rimfire control. Strangely enough, the atmosphere has created a buying panic for all guns that are not even being targeted. I'm seeing and saw more 22lr pistol and wheel gun sales at the gun show than any of the high cap pistol or rifles??
strange times...
