    Book for Reloading

I'm thinking about learning to reload for my .223 and .243, what are some good books to get to learn more about it?
    Thanks,

most all reloading manuals from bullet and powder manufacturers will have a step x step chapter emphasizing SAFETY and how to roll your own

my suggestions, the Lyman 49th Manual and Richard Lee's Modern Reloading

buy 'em off Fleabay or Amazon and soak up the knowledge like a sponge

Interested in this as well. Most of the major ammo/bullet manufacturers have books out, hard to know which ones are worth buying though.

If you are already familiar withthe basics of reloading, this site is pretty useful for data.

Bullet selection is pretty easy based on what you plan to do with it and your rate of twist, I have a hard time figuring out which powders to start with, I don't want to buy a dozen types just to test them!

Hornady Sierra and Lyman are my favorites.

The Lee wasn't too bad either

I'd recommend both the current Lyman manual and Richard Lee's book for general information. Then get the current bullet manufacturer's book for whatever bullets you are going to load. While cup-and-core bullets are similar, none are the same. And that's why I recommend load data specific to the bullet you will be reloading.

Remember also that reloading is not a way to turn a .308 into a .30-06 or a .30-06 into a .300 Win Mag.
