Custom Built 10/22

I've been wanting to build a tricked out 10/22 for a long time. I've got a nice stainless 10/22 with a blue/grey laminate stock but I hate to tear into it since its already a really pretty gun.

Originally I thought I would just find a used 10/22 rifle and use it's action as a starting point. But are there places to buy just the action and receiver since it really the only parts I need that could come from a stock rifle?

Also I'd love to see pics of yall's 10/22s if you've got some neat looking rigs.

There are just like the KIDD above, but they are twice the price of the whole gun.

Just like ordering a custom bolt action. Gonna cost you more.

The black one is mine.
Barrel is a tac sol 16 heavy fluted in od green
hogue stock
Extended mag release
Sight mark red dot.

Pink one is the wife's.
Zombie green one is my little mans.

It is addictive. There's lots of options. You can get 10/22 receivers at MidwayUSA and Brownell's but it's cheaper just to buy one at Academy and cannibalize it.
