""I will bet a years salary that no one on this board can shoot an average .250 group at 100 yards for 5 targets. And I almost be willing to bet most if not all could not do 1/2" groups average for 5 targets. And especially with a factory rifle. I've shot with some of the best in the world and they can't do this consistently, and the ones that can are in the hall of fame.""

I'd put you on the edge of your seat with a factory rifle. I have a .201 MOA target on the wall in my gun room that was shot with my 22-250 at 300 yards. No flags, just reading the wind and dialing it in on my turrets.

But yes I agree with you for the most part!

For those of you who would like a little more info, or following this thread:

Well I called up to Eliseo's shop, I expected to just talk to a tech there, but as it turned out like MikeW hinted at, Gary Eliseo himself answered the phone. He's a nice feller I should add too. I got all the info I needed plus more.

My main concern and reason for calling was to find out the measurements on this chassis to see what diameter barrel it could hold. As it turned out, the barrel I have on order from Krieger for my 338 Lapua will work fine for this chassis. ( it's 1.35 OD at the breech) Gary said the Defiance Machine Mutant action is his recommendation for the best of the best action to use. Then he said to glue in the action, or glue it and bolt it in, but do not just bolt it in. He stated he uses JB weld personally, and devcon would would fine too. The rigidity and strength building this way surpasses any other conventional rifle build. The action slips into this chassis system where the chassis makes a aluminum sleeve around the entire action, thus adding tons of rigidity and strength. The defiance Machine Mutant action is 1.47 OD at the end of the receiver (where the barrel threads in) then the rest of the action is 1.350 OD. The Mutant has an extended tenon which allows for more threading on your barrel to be screwed in. (example barrel A has 1 inch of threads that screws into the receiver, barrel B has 2 inches of threads that screws into the receiver) Which one is stronger and more rigid? Barrel B because it has more hold of the barrel inside the receiver.. Thus making this Mutant action more like the barrel B example. (not exact measurements, just example).
The chassis has a manual adjustment built in for bolt stop settings. This chassis is built for using the Jewell trigger with bottom safely, and no bolt stop on the trigger itself. Gary said he can do the pic. rails at a 40 MOA angle with no problems. The repeater version utilizes the accuracy international CIP 338 lapua magazines. This chassis can be cerakoted one color, cerakoted into a camo pattern, or powder coated into the more extravagant textured camo patterns.

Hope this helps anyone else out thats following the thread. With all this said, YES this chassis system is still much more rock solid than the conventional rifle stock bedded action set up.

The Eliseo Chassis system is 90-120 days out from time of order.

Nice shooting but ya need to put 5 down there.

I use to get teased all the time they called me "The Master of the Four Shot Group"

They said if I ever figured out how to put the first bullet where it belonged or the last one I'd win most of the matches.

Here is 8 shots@300 yards...5 in the bigger group and 3 went in that top hole
